Muslims frightened when they were for the first time defeated by unbelievers in the battle of Uhud. At this time, the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) came to know this, raising his hands to heaven and asked God to strengthen their faith and their frightened hearts; for God is the All – Faithful and the frightened hearts in order to reach peace take refuge in Him. In his prayer, the Prophet (S.A.W.) stated as such: “ O God! I ask You to grant Your permanent blessings. O God! Grant us security and reliance in the days of fear and horror. O Lord! We take refuge in You from what you keep it away from us. O God! persuade us into love faith to decorate our hearts with it and keep us away from committing sin. Rank us amongest the people of right and guidance. O God! Make us dead Muslims and raise us with good – doers and the pious.”

Therefore, God the Almighty is the only One who can prepare the means of peace and security for man. and also keep him away from fear: “Man said to them: “A great army is gathering against you”, and frightened them: but it (only) increased their faith: they said: “For us Allah is sufficient, and He is the best disposer of affairs.” – And they returned with Grace and Bounty from Allah: no harm ever touched them: for they followed the good pleasure of Allah: and Allah is the Lord of bounties unbounded.” The Quran (3: 173 – ۱۷۴)

In the above – mentioned verse, the meaning of “God increased their faith”, is that God granted them honesty, believing in faith, His help, courage, power and talent in order to stand against enemy.

Scholars say: “When faithfuls trusted in God, He granted them 4 rewards: blessing, courage, keeping away from evil and satisfaction. As a result, He made them very please with Himself and He also pleased with them.”

In a Divine tradition, God says: “The word La elaha ellallah is the safe shelter of mine. So, he who enters My shelter, he will be saved from My punishment and wrath.”

Another meaning of Godصs name (Al – Moamen) is the Confirmator. God, through His miracles and prophets confirms truly himself. Thus, He has promised to give reward to believers; w
